Peter L. Lomax
President & Partner
Since 1994, Peter Lomax, LTE has led over 1,500 environmental studies, focusing on the intersection of natural resource evaluation, land use planning, and regulatory compliance. With more than 30 years of experience serving both private and public sector clients, he brings a deep understanding of environmental policy, ecological systems, and development strategy.
Peter’s expertise lies in bridging science and regulation, guiding projects through complex permitting processes while protecting environmental integrity. His work includes site feasibility analysis, ecological assessments, regulatory threshold evaluations, and the strategic planning needed to turn environmental challenges into clear, achievable solutions.
Beyond his professional role, Peter is a committed advocate for local planning efforts, open space preservation, and wildlife management, contributing his expertise to initiatives that strengthen communities.

Joseph L. Lomax
Vice President & Partner
As the founder and visionary in 1975, Joseph Lomax recognized the critical need to pair ecological and environmental considerations with successful project design to navigate New Jersey’s complex land use/regulatory environment. Soon after, he expanded the firm’s specialties and geographic service area. Mr. Lomax is an ecologist and published author, and serves as an advisor to businesses, government, and nonprofit organizations. He specializes in project management, inter-disciplinary team development, environmental assessments, ecological and site feasibility studies, assessment of issues and development of strategic plans for solving environmental/land use regulatory challenges, and presentation of training/educational programs. He is a leading authority in promoting responsible management and conservation of natural resources, both at the local and national levels.
